§7841 Payment of Small Amounts to Public Creditors

Summary
Allows an Army official who handles subsistence funds, when the Secretary of the Army approves, to keep a small amount of that money on hand in their own possession and at their own risk to pay small amounts owed to public creditors.

When authorized by the Secretary of the Army, a disbursing official of Army subsistence funds may keep a limited amount of those funds in the personal possession and at the risk of the disbursing official to pay small amounts to public creditors.
