§8463 Midshipmen: Discharge for Deficiency

Summary
If a midshipman fails any exam, they must leave the Naval Academy and be removed from naval service unless the Academic Board decides not to discharge them.

Midshipmen found deficient at any examination shall, unless the Academic Board recommends otherwise, be discharged from the Naval Academy and from the naval service.
