Taking or keeping someone else's money, property, or anything valuable is a crime for anyone covered by this chapter. If the person intends to keep it forever or make it their own, it's larceny (stealing). If they intend only a temporary use, it's wrongful appropriation. Anyone convicted of larceny or wrongful appropriation can be punished by a court-martial.
