§9591 Utilities: Proceeds From Overseas Operations

Summary

Money earned by running a public utility overseas to support Air Force or Space Force operations during real or threatened hostilities can be kept for that utility. The funds may be used until the end of the fiscal year after they are received.

During actual or threatened hostilities, proceeds from operating a public utility in connection with operations of the Air Force or the Space Force in the field overseas are available for that utility until the close of the fiscal year following that in which they are received.
