Summary
The Secretary of the Air Force can provide District of Columbia high schools with weapons and military supplies they need for training, following rules he sets. He must make the schools post a money bond worth twice the value of the items to ensure the items are kept safe and, unless they were properly used up, returned when asked.

The Secretary of the Air Force, under regulations to be prescribed by him, may issue to the high schools of the District of Columbia ordnance and ordnance stores required for military instruction and practice. The Secretary shall require a bond in double the value of the property issued under this section, for the care and safekeeping of that property and, except for property properly expended, for its return when required.

The words “high schools of the” are substituted for the words “High School of Washington”, since the various high schools of the District of Columbia have succeeded the Washington High School that existed at the time the statute was enacted. The words “except for property properly expended” are inserted for clarity.
