Title 11 › Chapter 12— ADJUSTMENT OF DEBTS OF A FAMILY FARMER OR FISHERMAN WITH REGULAR ANNUAL INCOME › Subchapter II— THE PLAN › § 1223
A person in bankruptcy can change their repayment plan any time before the court approves it, but the new plan must still follow the rules in section 1222. Once the debtor files the change, the new plan becomes the plan. A creditor with a secured claim who already said yes or no is treated the same for the changed plan, unless the change alters that creditor’s rights and the creditor then changes their earlier yes or no.
