§1141h Avoidance of Duplication; Cooperation with Other Governmental Establishments; Obtaining Information and Data; Cooperation with States, Territories, and Agencies or Subdivisions Thereof; Indicating Research Problems; Transfer of Offices, Functions, Etc.

Summary

Require the administration to use the services and facilities of other federal executive agencies so work is not needlessly repeated and money is saved. The President can order those agencies to give the administration information and data they have about its work, except for information people gave in confidence under law or a government agreement. Allow the administration to work with States, Territories, their agencies, or with private persons. The administration must tell the right Agriculture Department office, through the governor, about special research needs. The President can, by Executive order, move all or part of offices, functions, records, equipment, staff, and unspent funds that deal with scientific or extension work or services for marketing farm products to or from the administration.
