Title 12 › CHAPTER 13 — NATIONAL HOUSING › § 1701m
The Secretary of the Treasury must cancel or credit notes the Housing and Home Finance Administrator gave for loans moved from the Reconstruction Finance Corporation to the Housing and Home Finance Agency under Reorganization Plan No. 23 of 1950 (64 Stat. 1279), but only up to the Agency’s net loss as the Secretary decides. Net loss means unpaid principal, any advances to care for or preserve the collateral, accrued unpaid interest on those amounts, and liquidation costs (excluding certain limited administrative expenses), minus what the Agency actually recovered.
