Applies the consumer-protection rules in sections 2602, 2607, 2614, 2615, 2616, and 2617 to sales of manufactured homes that are financed with FHA‑insured loans and to services tied to those deals. The Secretary may decide how and how much to apply those rules and can give exemptions when needed. The Secretary must also ban acts or practices in those FHA‑insured loans that are unfair, deceptive, or not in the borrower’s interest. Definitions — "Federally related mortgage loan": an FHA‑insured loan to buy a manufactured home the borrower will live in. "Real estate settlement service": any service provided with an FHA‑insured loan to buy a manufactured home.
