The Board can use the money and power given by the Community Development Credit Union Revolving Loan Fund Transfer Act, including extra appropriations and any earnings, as long as it follows this section and its own rules. It can invest idle Fund money in U.S. Treasury securities and put the interest back into the Fund. The Board can require loans from the Fund to be matched by higher share balances in the borrowing credit union. Interest from the Fund can also be used for technical help to community development credit unions, but only under an appropriations Act.
