Title 12 › Chapter 22— TYING ARRANGEMENTS › § 1973
Federal district courts can stop violations of section 1972. U.S. attorneys, under the Attorney General, must file civil petitions asking a court to stop those violations. The parties named must be notified and the court must hold a prompt hearing. While the petition is pending, the court can issue temporary orders and can bring in other people from any district and have marshals serve subpoenas.
