Summary

A qualified lender you apply to must promptly send you a written notice that says what they decided about your loan, explains why the loan was reduced or denied if that happened, and tells you that you can ask for a review under section 2202. If a qualified lender has a distressed loan that must be restructured, it must, under Farm Credit Administration rules, promptly send the borrower a written notice about any action taken under section 2202a, explain why restructuring was denied if it was, and tell the borrower about the review right under section 2202.
