Associations must make programs to give sound loans and related services to young, beginning, and small farmers and ranchers. These programs must work with other Farm Credit System institutions and with government and private lenders and must be approved by the supervising bank. Each Farm Credit Bank must annually collect reports from its associations about activities and progress and send an annual summary to the Farm Credit Administration.
