The Farm Credit Administration (FCA) can take enforcement actions under sections 2261, 2262, and 2268 against people who are or were institution-affiliated parties. If someone leaves a Farm Credit institution — by quitting, being fired, or because of a merger, consolidation, conservatorship, or receivership — the FCA can still issue notices and pursue action against them. The FCA must give any notice or order within 6 years after the person stopped being affiliated. That cutoff date can be before, on, or after December 20, 2018.
