It makes it a crime for a current or former director, officer, or any other person who has a final order against them under sections 2264 or 2265 to take part in running the institution or to solicit, transfer, or vote proxies, consents, or other voting authorizations. It also bans, without prior written approval from the Farm Credit Administration, voting for a director or serving as a director, officer, or employee. If convicted, the person can be fined up to $5,000, jailed for up to one year, or both.
