Title 12 › Chapter 27— REAL ESTATE SETTLEMENT PROCEDURES › § 2608
Sellers must not force a buyer who is using a federally related mortgage loan to buy title insurance from a specific title company. If a seller does force that, the seller must pay the buyer three times the full charge the buyer paid for the title insurance.
