Title 12 › Chapter 28— EMERGENCY MORTGAGE RELIEF › § 2702
Mortgage help will only be given when all of these things are true. The lender has told the borrower it plans to foreclose, and both lender and borrower say a foreclosure is likely and the borrower needs emergency mortgage help allowed here. Payments have been at least three months late. The borrower lost a lot of income because of involuntary job loss or reduced hours from bad economic or medical reasons and cannot make full payments. There must be a reasonable chance the borrower can fix things and return to full payments, and the house must be the borrower’s main home.
