Summary

For purposes of subchapter II of chapter 5 of title 5, the Agency is treated as an agency that regulates or supervises financial institutions. The Department of Housing and Urban Development is treated the same way, but only for activities it carries out under this chapter.

For purposes of subchapter II of chapter 5 of title 5—

(1)the Agency, and

(2)the Department of Housing and Urban Development, with respect to activities under this chapter,

shall be considered agencies responsible for the regulation or supervision of financial institutions.
