Title 12 › Chapter 52— EMERGENCY ECONOMIC STABILIZATION › Subchapter I— TROUBLED ASSETS RELIEF PROGRAM › § 5219b
The Secretary of the Treasury must change the rules for the Home Affordable Modification Program so the data the Treasury collects from each participating mortgage servicer and lender is made public. Within 14 days after each monthly data deadline, the Treasury must put reports on its website and send a report to Congress showing, for each servicer or lender, how many modification requests it received, processed, approved, and denied. Within 60 days after each monthly deadline, the Treasury must also publish individual-level data tables and create rules for releasing them while removing or changing names and ID numbers to protect privacy.
