§2536 Notification of Changes to Uniform Code of Military Justice or Manual for Courts Martial Relating to Covered Misconduct

Summary

Starting March 30, 2026, and every year after, the Commandant must send a detailed written notice to the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. The notice must say whether the Uniform Code of Military Justice (chapter 47 of title 10) was changed to add a sex-related offense as a new article or to remove an article covering misconduct listed in paragraphs (1)–(7) of section 301, and whether the Manual for Courts‑Martial was changed to add or remove such sex-related offenses under any UCMJ article.
