Starting March 30, 2026, and every year after, the Commandant must send a detailed written notice to the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. The notice must say if the Uniform Code of Military Justice (chapter 47 of title 10) was changed to add any sex-related offense as a new article or to remove an article that covers misconduct listed in paragraphs (1) through (7) of section 301.22. It also must say if the Manual for Courts‑Martial was changed to add any sex-related offense as an offense under a UCMJ article or to remove as an offense under a UCMJ article misconduct listed in paragraphs (1) through (7) of section 301.2.
