Allows any Coast Guard member who served honorably during a war to use their official title. They may also wear, at ceremonies, the uniform of the highest rank or rating they held in that war if they are authorized and follow the rules — this applies whether or not they are on active duty or retired. Any member on the retired list may wear the uniform of the rank or rating they hold.
