Title 15 › Chapter 32— TELECASTING OF PROFESSIONAL SPORTS CONTESTS › § 1293
Allows TV stations to show a professional football game on a Friday after 6:00 PM or on a Saturday between the second Friday in September and the second Saturday in December, even if a college or high school game is scheduled that day nearby, as long as three things are true. The nearby game must be either between two colleges that give four-year degrees, or between two accredited secondary schools that go through twelfth grade, and the game and its location must have been listed in a widely read newspaper before August 1 of that year as regularly scheduled for that day and place.
