Federal agencies and their workers cannot control or set rules for a school's staff, courses, teaching methods, or how the school is run. It also does not change what other federal agencies are already allowed or required to do by law.

(a)Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed as authorizing a department, agency, officer, or employee of the United States to exercise any direction, supervision, or control over, or impose any requirements or conditions with respect to the personnel, curriculum, methods of instruction, or administration of any educational institution.
(b)Nothing contained in this chapter shall be deemed to affect the functions or responsibilities under law of any other department or agency of the United States.
