Title 15 › Chapter 40— DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE › § 1545
The Secretary may work with public and private travel and tourist groups to put on exhibits and to gather, publish, and share information about sights, routes, transportation, lodging, and other travel topics to encourage travel. The Secretary can make graphic materials in foreign languages to highlight U.S. attractions and to promote the use of American‑registered ships and planes, and can use U.S. facilities abroad to help distribute them. The Secretary may hire private publishers to print and bind materials, charge for publications, and keep money from sales made with donated funds to pay for more printing and binding.
