Credit card companies must have reasonable steps to make sure your billing statement with the required details gets to you at least 21 days before the payment due date. If they do not send the statement at least 21 days before the due date, they cannot mark your payment as late. If your account has a grace period to pay some charges without extra interest, the company cannot add that interest for the billing cycle unless it mailed or delivered a statement showing the amount used to figure the interest at least 21 days before the payment-by date on that statement.
