Stops credit repair companies from saying or telling a customer to say anything false or misleading about the customer’s credit score, credit history, or ability to get credit to credit bureaus, to people who have already lent the customer money, or to people the customer has asked to lend them money. They also cannot tell a customer to change their identity to hide accurate and not outdated negative information, lie about what services they do, or use any scam or trick to sell their services. They must not take money or any other payment for a promised service until that service is completely finished.
