Title 15 › Chapter 42— INTERSTATE LAND SALES › § 1715
The Director of the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection is in charge of carrying out this law and may give any duties to bureau employees or panels of employees, including investigating, holding hearings, deciding matters, and issuing orders. People who do hearing jobs must be appointed and serve under sections 3105, 3344, 5372, and 7521 of title 5. The Director must make rules about how decisions by administrative law judges can be appealed to other judges, bureau officers, panels, or to the Director. Hearings must be public and have proper records. Orders after hearings must be based on those records and done under subchapter II of chapter 5 and chapter 7 of title 5. The Director must follow chapter 5 of title 5 when making rules or deciding cases. If an adverse action or final decision is made, the bureau must give notice and include a written statement of the facts and the legal authority that supports the decision.
