Title 15 › Chapter 49— FIRE PREVENTION AND CONTROL › § 2215
The FEMA Administrator must send a report to Congress and the President within ninety calendar days after the year ending September 30, 1980, and every year after that. The report must cover all fire prevention and control actions and what was done under this chapter during the previous calendar year. The report must include a detailed study with numbers and forecasts of human and economic losses from fires; a review of the research and technology work done or funded under the chapter; a 12‑month summary of the Academy showing its curriculum, admission and performance rules, how degrees and certificates are awarded, and how many students and graduates there were; summaries of help given to fire services and of public education programs; an analysis of how much people participated in preparing and submitting Fire Safety Effectiveness Statements; a ranked list of major problems in running the program; any recommended new laws; and a summary of reviews, evaluations, and suggested improvements to state, local, federal, and private fire prevention and building codes and fire services.
