§2416 Contracts and Other Funding Arrangements

Summary

Agencies must not make contracts or other funding deals under this chapter unless three rules are met. The work must match the chapter’s goals and be useful to others in government or business. The project must include an evaluation and keep improvement data, done either by the participants under the Center’s instructions or by the Center itself. Everyone who takes part must agree that any new ideas or results from a Center-funded demonstration are public information. No contract or funding deal under this chapter can last more than three years. Any non‑Federal share of the project can be cash or things of value. In‑kind contributions, like buildings, equipment, or services, must be fairly valued.
