Title 15 › Chapter 58— FULL EMPLOYMENT AND BALANCED GROWTH › Subchapter III— GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 3151
Programs and activities paid for under this chapter must not exclude people, deny them benefits, or treat them unfairly because of sex, age, race, color, religion, national origin, or disability. That rule also covers being part of any group or board set up under the chapter. If the Secretary of Labor finds a funded recipient is not following the rule, the Secretary must tell them and ask them to fix it. If they do not fix it within a reasonable time, and no more than 60 days, the Secretary can send the case to the Attorney General, use powers under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, or take other legal action. The Attorney General may sue in federal court to get appropriate relief. The Secretary must also include a detailed review of enforcement results in the annual report named in section 1022a(f)(2)(B).
