Summary

The Secretary must keep records of weather modification activities, including attempts, that happen in the United States and must publish summaries of those records from time to time. Most reports and information received under this law should be made public as much as possible, but the Secretary cannot release material protected by 18 U.S.C. 1905 unless it is shared with other federal agencies for official use, turned over under a court order that keeps it confidential, or disclosed to protect people’s health or safety.
