Title 15 › Chapter 60— NATURAL GAS POLICY › Subchapter V— ADMINISTRATION, ENFORCEMENT, AND REVIEW › § 3415
The Secretary of Energy may join any state case about prorationing or other limits on natural gas production that a state agency runs. He can sue in federal court to enforce that right. If he joins, he can get the same relevant information other parties get, using the state agency’s reasonable discovery rules. The Secretary can ask the proper state court to review any decision from those cases if he joined or if state law allows. He can also take part in court reviews as a non‑party by filing a brief to give information or views.
