Title 15 › Chapter 62— CONDOMINIUM AND COOPERATIVE CONVERSION PROTECTION AND ABUSE RELIEF › § 3611
Anyone harmed by a violation of this chapter may sue in court, unless sections 3607 or 3608 limit that right. For suits about violations of sections 3607 or 3609, if actual damages were suffered, the court can award those damages or other fair relief. A person who pays under a court order can seek payment from others who would have been liable if sued alone. Recoverable amounts can include interest, reasonable attorneys’ fees, independent engineer and appraiser fees, and court costs. A defendant can get attorneys’ fees if the court finds the plaintiff’s claim was frivolous, malicious, or without substantial merit.
