Title 15 › Chapter 1— MONOPOLIES AND COMBINATIONS IN RESTRAINT OF TRADE › § 4
Federal district courts can stop violations of sections 1 to 7. U.S. attorneys must, under the Attorney General’s direction, bring equity cases to block those violations. They file a petition explaining the case and asking the court to order the conduct to stop. After notice, the court must hear the case as soon as possible and may issue temporary orders to halt the conduct until a final decision.
