Title 15 › Chapter 66— PROMOTION OF EXPORT TRADE › Subchapter I— EXPORT TRADING COMPANIES AND TRADE ASSOCIATIONS › § 4002
It defines key words used in this part of the law and lets the Secretary of Commerce make rules to explain any of the words further. Export trade — selling or moving goods or services made in the United States out of the country. Services — business help such as accounting, engineering, legal work, insurance, transport, tourism, training, and similar services. Export trade services — services that help U.S. exporters, like market research, advertising, shipping paperwork and freight forwarding, warehousing, financing, and related support. Export trading company — a business or nonprofit in the U.S. organized mainly to export U.S. goods or services or to help unaffiliated U.S. sellers export. State and United States — both include the several States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands. Antitrust laws — the federal antitrust rules (see section 12(a)), section 45 for unfair competition, and any state antitrust or unfair competition law.
