Title 15 › Chapter 71— PETROLEUM OVERCHARGE DISTRIBUTION AND RESTITUTION › § 4506
Most parts of this chapter (except section 4504) end 90 days after the Secretary does two things: decides that all restitution money covered by section 4501(a) has been collected and paid out as the chapter requires, and sends Congress the final report called for by section 4505. That final report must explain the Secretary’s decision and be published in the Federal Register. The rule in section 4502(d) still applies to how restitution money from this chapter can be used for as long as those funds are available.
