Title 15 › Chapter 73— EXPORT ENHANCEMENT › Subchapter III— EXPORT PROMOTION › § 4724
The Secretary of Commerce must help U.S. businesses export by supporting trade shows in the United States that bring together U.S. sellers and foreign buyers. Help can go to nonprofit industry groups, trade associations, foreign trade zones, and private firms or groups when no nonprofit, trade association, or foreign trade zone represents that industry. The Commerce Department must work with the Small Business Administration to make extra efforts to include small businesses and companies new to exporting. Money for this help can be used to find and inform potential participants, provide language help, and share show information with small or new exporters. "United States business" covers a U.S. citizen, a U.S. company or association, or a foreign company more than 95 percent owned by those two; "small business" means the term in section 632 of this title.
