Title 15 › Chapter 73— EXPORT ENHANCEMENT › Subchapter III— EXPORT PROMOTION › § 4725
Require the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service to boost exports to Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. They must find American goods and services that are not yet sold there but could compete, tell U.S. sellers about those chances, give lists of those goods and any trade barriers to officials in those countries to try to open markets, help U.S. sellers enter those markets, and watch and measure the results. The Secretary of Commerce must report periodically to Congress on these activities. "United States person" means a U.S. citizen or a business formed under U.S. law (including states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories).
