Require the Trade Promotion Coordinating Committee to report on steps taken or planned to remove overlap in federal export-promotion programs. It must coordinate federal support for trade shows and fairs, work with State and national trade offices (including the National Governors’ Association), and report on efforts to better align State, Federal, and private export activities (like co‑location, cost‑sharing, and shared market research). These items must be in the annual report due March 30, 2000, and every year after.
