Title 15 › Chapter 77— STEEL AND ALUMINUM ENERGY CONSERVATION AND TECHNOLOGY COMPETITIVENESS › § 5107
The Secretary must prepare and send a full report each year to the President and Congress at the end of each fiscal year, starting with fiscal year 2008. The report must describe all research and development work done under this chapter that year, say how much money was actually spent and how much is expected to be obligated, and give any recommendations the Secretary thinks are needed for laws, administration, or actions by the American steel, aluminum, copper, and other metals industries to meet the chapter’s goals. The report due at the end of fiscal year 1991 and the reports due at the ends of fiscal years 1993, 1995, and 1997 must also include a full summary of what happened under the management plan and the research plan from their first year, plus an analysis of how well those plans met the chapter’s purposes.
