Gives simple meanings for words used in this subchapter. Pay-per-call services — means what section 228(i) of title 47 says, but the Federal Trade Commission can, by rule, broaden that meaning (even if subparagraphs (B) and (C) of section 228(i)(1) would limit it) to include other similar audio information or entertainment services if the Commission finds they are open to the unfair or deceptive practices banned under section 5711(a) of this title. Attorney general — the chief legal officer of a State. State — any State of the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, and any U.S. territory or possession. Commission — the Federal Trade Commission.
