Title 15 › Chapter 88— INTERNATIONAL ANTITRUST ENFORCEMENT ASSISTANCE › § 6206
The Attorney General, with the Commission’s agreement, must publish in the Federal Register at least 45 days before entering into an antitrust mutual assistance agreement the proposed text and a request for public comment. The same rule applies at least 45 days before entering into any amendment to such an agreement: the proposed amendment and a call for public comment must be published. Within 45 days after an agreement is entered into or ends, or after an amendment is entered into, the Attorney General, with the Commission’s agreement, must publish the actual text or the terms of the ending. For amendments, they must also publish where prior versions and past amendments were published and say how to get a copy of the updated agreement from the Attorney General and the Commission. If these publication steps are not done as required, the agreement or amendment is not considered in effect under this chapter.
