Title 15 › Chapter 89— PROFESSIONAL BOXING SAFETY › § 6304
People may not set up, promote, or take part in a professional boxing match unless they follow these safety rules or a boxing commission has a different rule that gives the same protection for boxers’ health and safety. They must have a doctor’s physical for each boxer with a certificate sent to the commission; an ambulance or trained medical staff with resuscitation gear on site the whole time (unless a commission rule made after October 9, 1996 says otherwise); a doctor at ringside the whole time; and health insurance for each boxer to cover injuries from the match.
