New Markets Venture Capital companies in the program must be examined when the SBA's Investment Division orders one, and the SBA can use qualified private firms to help run those exams. The SBA can charge the company for the exam costs, including pay for the examiners, and the company must pay; the money goes into the SBA's salaries and expenses account.
