Gives simple meanings for important words used in this part of the law. "Person" — an individual or any kind of business group. "Fur" — an animal skin with hair, fleece, or fur fibers on it, whether raw or processed, but not skins meant to be made into leather or those whose hair is completely removed. "Used fur" — fur that a consumer has already worn. "Fur product" — clothing made all or partly of fur or used fur. "Waste fur" — ear pieces, throat pieces, or scrap cut from pelts, and mats or plates made from them. "Invoice" — a written record describing fur items sent to a buyer or someone who deals in fur. "Commission" — the Federal Trade Commission. "Federal Trade Commission Act" — the law creating the FTC, approved September 26, 1914, as amended. "Fur Products Name Guide" — the register the Commission issues under section 69e. "Commerce" — trade across states, through other places, or within U.S. territories or the District of Columbia. "United States" — the states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories and possessions.
