Title 15 › Chapter 95— MICROENTERPRISE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM › § 6905
Must set how the grant money is split and follow several rules. At least 75% of funds must pay for the kinds of activities listed in section 6903(1), and at least 15% must pay for the activities in section 6903(2). No single person can get more than 10% of the total funds in one fiscal year. At least 50% of grants must help very low-income people, including those on Indian reservations. Qualified groups may make subgrants to small and new microenterprise programs, but may use no more than 7.5% of their money for admin costs for those subgrants. Grants must go to both large and small microenterprise groups serving urban, rural, and Indian tribal communities and diverse populations. Organizations in the program under section 636(m) must not get special treatment over other applicants.
