Title 15 › Chapter 15B— NATURAL GAS › § 717i
Natural-gas companies must file yearly and other reports with the Commission when the Commission says they are needed. The Commission decides the form and can require answers to specific questions. Reports must give detailed financial and operational facts, such as what the company owns and owes, how it is funded, investments, money received, interest, loss of value and reserves, costs to build, run, and replace gas facilities, and how gas is moved, delivered, used, and sold. Reports are usually sworn under oath unless the Commission allows otherwise. It is illegal for a company to purposely block, delay, or hide any required records, reports, or accounts.
