Title 15 › Chapter 103— CONTROLLING THE ASSAULT OF NON-SOLICITED PORNOGRAPHY AND MARKETING › § 7709
The Commission, after talking with the Department of Justice and other agencies, must send a report to Congress no later than 24 months after December 16, 2003. The report must look at how well the law is working and whether Congress should change it. The report must analyze how new technology and changes in the market, including the devices people use for email, affect the rules; recommend how to handle commercial email that starts in or passes through other countries and what the U.S. could do in international talks; and recommend ways to protect consumers, including children, from obscene or pornographic commercial email.
