The law forbids the Corporation created here, its committees, and anyone acting for them from saying they speak for or represent the Department of State or the United States government. They also may not tell foreign governments or officials that they act for the State Department or U.S. government, or do anything that would get in the way of U.S. foreign policy, diplomatic talks, arrangements, or exchanges with other governments.
