Title 15 › CHAPTER 1 — MONOPOLIES AND COMBINATIONS IN RESTRAINT OF TRADE › § 7a–2
These rules do not change three things. First, they do not stop the Antitrust Division from asking a court to pause a civil case or protect evidence in a case tied to a leniency agreement if sharing information would hurt its investigation or prosecution. Second, they do not give anyone a new right to challenge the Antitrust Division’s decisions about a leniency agreement. Third, they do not alter how parties share legal responsibility for damages in those civil cases, except for the special treatment already given to the leniency applicant and cooperating individuals.
